Introduction:

As part of their annual team gathering in 2024, the Roche team had put on an event and was looking to embed new technologies to enhance employee’s engagement and experience. The company utilized Kampfire for the first time to achieve those goals by activating a new solution they haven’t tried before. This collaboration aimed to create interactive and memorable experiences for attendees while driving valuable outcomes for internal teams and stakeholders.


The primary objectives included: 

  1. Creating personalized photo albums for employees to cherish their event memories.

  2. Strengthen relations with employees and increase brand exposure to their social spheres of influence.

  3. Try out new engaging technology in their internal events.

  4. Drive excitement during and after the event.

  5. Measure employee engagement after the event ends. 


Deployment and Impact:

Professional photographer captured key moments at the event, including team-building activities and employee’s interactions. The Roche team then swiftly uploaded all 1,500 photos to Kampfire's platform. They used Kampfire's intuitive interface to filter and favorite the best shots, those favorite photos are automatically added to each personalized photo album generated by AI-powered facial recognition technology. This feature ensured that everyone received a collection of their best moments from the event, making the experience more personal and memorable. This process was streamlined, allowing the Roche team to efficiently manage the large volume of photos.

Kampaign Views: 458 non-unique views

Downloaded Photos: 1,121 photos downloaded

Claimed Personalized Albums: 278 albums claimed

  1. Enhanced Engagement: Personalized photo albums drove significant employee participation and interaction post the event. Employees were excited to receive and share their photos, which contributed to a memorable event experience.

  2. Increased Reach: The high volume of shared photos extended the event’s reach beyond the physical phase, increasing brand awareness and online engagement. Employees sharing their personalized photo albums on social media amplified Roche's visibility and promoted a positive company image.

  3. Strengthened Employee Relations: The personalized nature of the photo albums along with the experiences and memories that the hosts selected to feature in the favorite album helped strengthen relations between employees and the company, fostering a sense of appreciation and belonging.

  4. Valuable Insights: The metrics and feedback collected provided Roche with valuable insights into employee interaction and engagement during and after the event, helping to inform and improve future events.
